Cookie policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026
We keep this simple: alawais.pk uses only the cookies it needs to work. We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and we do not load third-party trackers.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser so it can remember you between pages.
The cookies we use
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
aw_sid | A random session number that keeps your cart, wishlist and sign-in together. It is not your name or email. | Up to 30 days |
aw_s | A small flag so the site knows whether a saved session exists, which keeps pages fast. | Up to 30 days |
aw_mfa | Only while you finish signing in with a second step (a code or passkey). | 5 minutes |
These are “strictly necessary” cookies. The shop would not work without them, so they do not need a consent banner. They are set with the HttpOnly, SameSite and (on the live site) Secure options.
Other storage in your browser
To load faster and show an offline page, the site can keep copies of pages and images in your browser (a service worker cache). The admin area remembers your light or dark choice in your browser. None of this is used to track you.
Third parties
If you follow a link to WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram, those sites set their own cookies under their own policies.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block them, you will not be able to keep items in your cart or sign in.
